Pulse is now accepting contribution work for consideration of publication. Please read the submission guidelines below for more details.

Photo Essays

Submit a word document with 5-10 images of your work. All images should include cutlines and follow Associated Press style writing. Your name must be included at the top of the document. Attach high-resolution photos in the email

Writers

You may submit between 750-1,000 words. Pulse seeks non-fiction/fiction creative writing work. This includes, but is not limited to, columns, news features, profiles, human interests, and critical reviews. All submissions must be: font size 12pt, Times New Roman, follow Associated Press style writing, written appropriately for magazines, double-spaced, have a headline, and your name.

All submissions will be reviewed by Pulse magazine’s current staff. Pulse reserves the right to not publish work on its website or print version for any reason. Pulse magazine also reserves the right to make needed edits for grammar, Associated Press style writing, and any information within a story. A Pulse staff member may contact you if significant edits are needed for accepted work.
