Fall Festival at Discovery School

Buckets of Fun: Fun with Hollows and Halloween

This event is filled with hands on activities that allow children to socialize and discover what nature has to offer. There is a fee, $3 for children and $3 for adults or $2 for seniors.

Howl-O-Ween at PAWS

Thursday, October 26

Join the Laurie P. Andrews center for a night filled with howls and ghouls. There will be a dog costume contest, good bags, awesome prizes, and a tummy yappy hour table for you and your canine friend.

Los Muertos Bailan

Attend this free event to celebrate and pay homage to Dia de Los Muertos. With dances, art, music, free food, and even a costume contest, Los Muertos Bailan is a night you won’t want to forget.

Halloween Bash

IMAS museum is hosting their annual Halloween bash. Just pay the cost of general admission and you will be able to enjoy all the spooky activities that they have to offer. The McAllen Public Library will be holding a costume contest for all ages. Travel along the trick or treating trail to get lots of candy. This is a fun, safe, and completely free event at the library.

Mysteries at the BOO-seum!

Celebrate Halloween with the Mission Historical Museum! There will be chances to win prizes, cake, candy, and more! In addition, there will be games, activities, moon jumps, and even live music. This event is FREE to the public! Don’t forget your costume!

Have a spooky Halloween at the Heavin Resaca Trail. Free candy will be distributed, as well as a costume contest that will start around 6 PM. Winners will receive prizes and live music will be presented by DJ Rattlesnake.

Attend this free entranced event in downtown Harlingen. Where there will be trick or treating, a costume contest, pumpkin carving contest, a zombie walk, thriller dance off, games and activities, and lots of food!
