Bueno, bonito y barato: Little Caesars Pizza

0

Bueno, bonito y barato is a commonly used phrase in Mexico to describe something that is nice, pretty and cheap. That is exactly what the pizza from Little Caesars is.

I am a college student with a job and my earnings are precious to me. So, my money is carefully spent. But there are times when I want outside food, meaning I don’t want to cook at home. So, what do I do when I want pizza but places like Pizza Hut and Domino’s have crazy high prices? Well, it’s simple. I go to Little Caesars where a large round pepperoni pizza is only $5. The best part is I don’t even have to get out of my car, I just have to drive to the drive-thru window and quickly, in five minutes or fewer, I will have that delicious, HOT-N-READY pizza in my hands. For this reason, Little Caesars has my heart and the rare title of bueno, bonito y barato. By the way, it’s rare to find something that is the three B’s, so that says a lot about this company. But pizzas aren’t the only thing on the menu.

If you want to get a little fancy and treat yourself,  Little Caesars’ menu may have something for you. These items do not cost much. For example, their EXTRAMOSTBESTEST Thin Crust Pepperoni pizza is $7.99 and according to their website description, it is a large thin crust pizza topped right to the edge with extra cheese and pepperoni. All that for $7.99? It’s a yes for me today, tomorrow and always. The restaurant also carries wings, breadsticks (called Crazy Bread), cookie brownies and Italian cheese bread.

The most expensive item on the menu is the DEEP!DEEP! Dish Ultimate Supreme pizza, which is a large Detroit-style deep dish pizza with pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and green peppers for only $14.99. The deep dish also comes in single-toppings, if you prefer. If you are craving a deep dish pizza but don’t want to spend $10 to $15, you can order the $5 Lunch Combo, which comes with your choice of a 20 oz Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Diet Pepsi or Aquafina water. This combo includes four slices of Detroit-style deep dish pepperoni pizza.

Ultimately, I don’t think anyone could ever top the greatness of Little Caesars. Of course, there will always be that one person who wants to play the devil’s advocate and will say that Little Caesars pizza is disgusting. While I disagree, (their pizza tastes really good!) all I have to say to Little Caesars haters is that they can keep wasting money on expensive pizza from other places. Meanwhile, I will keep enjoying my delicious and cheap pizza.
