2,771 fans showed up to watch the UTRGV Women’s Volleyball team compete against Texas Tech last night at the UTRGV fieldhouse in Edinburg. Texas Tech came out victorious defeating the Lady Vaqueros in five sets with the final set score being 15 to 11. UTRGV senior outside hitter Claudia Lupescu led both teams in kills with 25 total and also tallied up 13 digs to record her fourth double-double in the last seven games. The Lady Vaqueros will face off against the San Francisco Tigers at 6:30 tonight in the UTRGV fieldhouse.
